While enjoying the sights and listening for the hundredth time as someone in the group remarked that there's no smell fresher than a thick cedar grove, an idea was born.

That night, tents were pitched, beds were made on the soft bedding of decades of fallen cedar leaves, a campfire was built from fallen cedar logs, and as they were dried, then burned, the aroma only got better. Something about the omnipresent smell, the peaceful ambience of the forest, the visit to the old-style general store earlier that day for supplies... the idea, the dream, continued to gel.
